A profit balance and an eligible withdrawal are different
A positive dashboard balance is only the starting point for a reward request. Firms attach conditions to when a request can be made, what portion qualifies and how it is processed. The useful task is to reconcile the account ledger with the current reward policy. Keep trading profit, the requested amount, the trader’s share and any fee refund on separate lines. That prevents a large displayed balance from being mistaken for money already approved for payment.
Check the clock and the state of the account
FTMO’s withdrawal FAQ allows a reward claim from the fourteenth day after the first trade on the relevant account. It requires open positions and pending orders to be closed before a request. The firm then reviews the account, with processing steps after approval. This sequence separates the earliest request date from receipt of funds. When planning cash flow, leave those events distinct; a calendar becoming eligible does not mean the transfer has already occurred.
Use the policy for the actual model
FundedNext Futures’ withdrawal guide begins with model-specific eligibility and then describes transferring profit to the wallet before completing the Payout request. Its published minimum is $250, and a trader who has already traded that day must wait until end-of-day to request withdrawal. The guide contains different conditions for its several models. Select the account shown in the dashboard instead of applying a familiar rule from another program merely because it is offered by the same firm.
Separate money from purchase credits
The5ers’ High Stakes policy distinguishes non-withdrawable Hub Credit from the refundable portion paid from external funds. It also specifies a minimum withdrawal of $150 after the profit split. That distinction illustrates why the term refund needs careful reading. A credit toward another challenge, a cash reimbursement and a trading reward have different uses. Record them separately when assessing the outcome of a program, and do not count a restricted credit as cash income available for bills.
Review the account that remains after payment
Before submitting a request, save the eligible amount, applicable share, transaction route and expected remaining balance. Check the program’s own loss-limit treatment after a withdrawal and preserve confirmation of the request. These records make it easier to distinguish a calculation issue from an identity check, a trading review or a payment delay. They also improve the next trading decision: reducing the balance can change the room available for losses even when the requested payout is fully eligible.
